Clouds blanketed much of the state overnight, along with scattered
flurries. Temperatures prior to daybreak ranged from near 20 below
in the northwest corner where skies were clear, to near zero or just
below over the southeast. A continued brisk northwest wind was
generating wind chills generally from 25 below to 35 below over the
west.

Low clouds will linger today with scattered flurries possible over
the south. In the wake of this system, temperatures look to
moderate, with highs in the 30s across most of the state for
Thursday.
