...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN POPE...SOUTHWESTERN
CRITTENDEN...SOUTHERN LIVINGSTON...WEST CENTRAL CALDWELL...NORTHERN
MARSHALL...EASTERN MCCRACKEN AND LYON COUNTIES THROUGH 315 AM CDT...

At 233 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Salem to near Reidland. Movement was east
at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Paducah, Calvert City, Eddyville, Hillman Ferry Campground, Reidland,
Birmingham Ferry Recreation Area, Demumbers Bay Campground, Land
Between The Lakes Area, Salem, Ledbetter, Farmersville, Kuttawa,
Fredonia, Grand Rivers, Smithland, Hamletsburg, and Dycusburg.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 24 in Kentucky between Mile Markers 12 and 13, and
between Mile Markers 16 and 46.
 Interstate 69 in Kentucky between Mile Markers 49 and 77.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 600 AM CDT for southern
Illinois...and western Kentucky.
