Gusty southwesterly winds return this afternoon ahead of a storm
system that brings periods of mountain snow and valley rain. We will
have a brief break tomorrow. Although brief and light snow showers
remain a possibility near the Sierra crest. Periods of valley
rain and mountain snow return on Friday and will continue through
most of the weekend. Drier and warmer conditions return early next
week.
