CLEAR SKIES PREVAILED THROUGHOUT MUCH OF SOUTH DAKOTA DURING THE
OVERNIGHT HOURS. NORTHWEST WINDS AT 10 TO 20 MPH USHERED COOLER AND
DRIER AIR THROUGHOUT MUCH OF THE NORTHERN PLAINS.

LOW TEMPERATURES VARIED FROM THE MIDDLE 40S TO LOWER 60S AROUND THE
RUSHMORE STATE. THE COOLEST TEMPERATURE WAS 46 DEGREES AT PINE
RIDGE. WHILE THE WARMEST READING OF 61 DEGREES OCCURRED ALONG THE
MISSOURI RIVER AT YANKTON.

AT MID MORNING...ABUNDANT SUNSHINE PREVAILED THROUGHOUT SOUTH DAKOTA
AS NORTHWEST WINDS AT 10 TO 20 MPH WERE COMMON IN MOST AREAS.
TEMPERATURES WERE IN THE MIDDLE AND UPPER 60S AROUND THE STATE.

PARTLY CLOUDY SKIES AND UNSEASONABLY COOL TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED
AROUND SOUTH DAKOTA. BREEZY NORTHWEST WINDS AT 15 TO 25 MPH WILL BE
SEEN ACROSS THE REGION. AFTERNOON HIGHS WILL MAKE IT INTO THE MIDDLE
70S TO LOWER 80S.
