MOSTLY CLEAR SKIES PREVAILED ACROSS THE STATE OVERNIGHT WITH THE
EXCEPTION OF A BATCH OF THICKER MID AND HIGH CLOUDS OVER THE BLACK
HILLS AND OTHER PARTS OF FAR WESTERN SOUTH DAKOTA. LOW TEMPERATURES
WERE GENERALLY IN THE 30S AND 40S...BUT RANGED FROM EXTREMES OF 27
DEGREES AT PINE RIDGE...PACTOLA RESERVOIR...AND MAURINE...TO 56
DEGREES AT MOUNT RUSHMORE.

AT 1100 AM CDT...SKIES WERE MOSTLY SUNNY IN THE CENTRAL AND EAST AND
PARTLY TO MOSTLY CLOUDY IN THE WEST. TEMPERATURES WERE IN MID 50S TO
LOWER 70S. THE COOLEST READING WAS 54 DEGREES AT ABERDEEN AND THE
WARMEST WAS 73 DEGREES AT WINNER. WINDS WERE GENERALLY OUT OF THE
WEST OR SOUTHWEST AT 10 TO 20 MPH STATEWIDE...WITH A FEW GUSTS OF 20
TO 30 MPH BEING REPORTED IN THE FAR EASTERN AREAS.
