...WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM NOON TUESDAY TO MIDNIGHT MDT
WEDNESDAY NIGHT...

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 1 and
  2 feet, with isolated amounts approaching 3 feet over the highest
  peaks. Winds gusting as high as 55 mph.

* WHERE...Little Belt and Highwood Mountains.

* WHEN...From noon Tuesday to midnight MDT Wednesday Night.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. Those in
  the backcountry should ensure they have appropriate knowledge and
  gear and may want to consider alternate plans. Widespread blowing
  snow could significantly reduce visibility. The combination of
  heavy, wet snow and strong winds could cause extensive damage to
  trees and power lines.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency. The latest road conditions can

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations up to 6 inches.
  Winds gusting as high as 45 mph.

* WHERE...The Mountains of Southwestern Montana south of Interstate
  90.

* WHEN...From 9 PM this evening to noon MDT Monday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions and reduced visibility
  at times.

* WHAT...Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations between 2 and
  6 across the valleys, with 6 to 12 inches over Marias Pass and
  Hudson Bay Divide are possible. Winds could gust as high as 50 mph.

* WHERE...East Glacier Park Region Zone.

* WHEN...From Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday evening.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. Those in
  the backcountry should ensure they have appropriate knowledge and
  gear and may want to consider alternate plans. The combination of
  heavy, wet snow and gusty winds could bring down tree branches.
