...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM CDT THIS MORNING...
...REPLACES FLASH FLOOD WARNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of east central Kansas, including the following
  county, Anderson.

* WHEN...Until 1100 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams
  continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 800 AM CDT, emergency management reported flooding
    continues in the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain
    have fallen.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Garnett, Colony, Greeley, Westphalia, Kincaid, Lone Elm and
    Garnett Airport.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
