A BROAD AREA OF HIGH PRESSURE WILL COVER COLORADO TONIGHT, PUSHING A WEAK PLUME
OF TROPICAL MOISTURE A BIT FURTHER SOUTH OF THE STATE. THIS WILL LIMIT EVENING
THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE REGION, WITH SCATTERED STORMS OVER THE EXTREME SOUTHERN
MOUNTAINS, AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS ELSEWHERE. LOOK FOR THUNDERSTORMS DYING
DOWN BEFORE MIDNIGHT, FOLLOWED BY DECREASING CLOUDS OVERNIGHT.

THE MONSOON STREAM SHOULD RETURN THURSDAY AND FRIDAY TO THE MOUNTAINS AND
WESTERN AREAS, WHERE SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS COULD DEVELOP BOTH DAYS. FOR THE
CENTRAL AND EASTERN MOUNTAINS AND THE PLAINS THOUGH, LOOK FOR MAINLY ISOLATED
LATE DAY AND EARLY EVENING THUNDERSTORMS. TEMPERATURES WILL STAY ABOVE AVERAGE
BOTH DAYS, WITH 100 DEGREE READINGS POSSIBLE ON THE PLAINS.

THE FORECAST FOR PIKES PEAK, TELLER COUNTY AND THE RAMPART RANGE. LOOK FOR
MOSTLY CLOUDY SKIES THIS EVENING WITH ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS, THEN PARTLY
CLOUDY SKIES THE REST OF THE NIGHT. LOW TEMPERATURES ARE GOING TO RANGE IN THE
50S TO LOWER 60S, AND WINDS SHOULD BE FROM THE SOUTH UP TO 10 MPH.
