REMARKS...

THE MONTH OF MARCH IN FARGO WAS A LITTLE WARMER THAN NORMAL AND
DRIER THAN NORMAL. THE MONTH STARTED OUT WITH BELOW NORMAL
TEMPERATURES FOR THE FIRST COUPLE DAYS AND AGAIN FROM THE 8TH
THROUGH THE 15TH. HOWEVER MUCH OF THE REST OF THE MONTH WAS ABOVE
NORMAL. THE RESULT WAS AN ABOVE NORMAL MONTH BY 1.7 DEGREES. MARCH
WAS NOT IN THE TOP 10 WARMEST. THE WARMEST MONTH ON RECORD WAS MARCH
OF 2012 WITH A MONTHLY AVERAGE OF 41.6 DEGREES.

PRECIPITATION FOR THE MONTH WAS BELOW NORMAL WITH 0.33 OF AN INCH OR
0.97 OF AN INCH BELOW NORMAL. MARCH WAS THE 9TH DRIEST MONTH ON
RECORD. THE DRIEST MARCH ON RECORD OCCURRED IN 1958 WITH 0.03 INCH.

SNOWFALL FOR THE MONTH WAS 1.6 INCHES WHICH IS 7.5 INCHES BELOW THE
NORMAL OF 9.1 INCHES. NO SNOWFALL RECORDS WERE RECORDED FOR MARCH.

NO DAILY RECORD TEMPERATURES OR DAILY RECORD PRECIPITATION OCCURRED
IN MARCH.
