...ROCK AND MUD SLIDES POSSIBLE ACROSS NORTH CENTRAL IDAHO AND
MINERAL COUNTY SUNDAY THROUGH MONDAY...

A very wet system will begin to move across the region on Sunday
with the greatest period of moderate to heavy rain on Monday.
Rising snow levels will cause rain to fall as high as 6000-7000 feet
by Monday afternoon. Portions of north central Idaho and
northwest Montana are expected to receive rainfall amounts of 1 to
2 inches...locally up to to 3 inches over the Clearwater Mountains
of Idaho. The excessive rain may lead to rock and mud slides
impacting area roadways. Additionally, ponding of water in urban
areas could lead to hydroplaning.
