...FLASH FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH TUESDAY
AFTERNOON...

THE FLASH FLOOD WATCH CONTINUES FOR

* PORTIONS OF CENTRAL ARKANSAS...EASTERN ARKANSAS...NORTH
  CENTRAL ARKANSAS...SOUTHEAST ARKANSAS...SOUTHWEST ARKANSAS AND
  WESTERN ARKANSAS...INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING AREAS...IN CENTRAL
  ARKANSAS...CONWAY...FAULKNER...GARLAND...GRANT...LONOKE...

  EASTERN ARKANSAS...JACKSON...MONROE AND WOODRUFF. IN NORTH

  SOUTHWEST ARKANSAS...CALHOUN...CLARK...DALLAS...HOT SPRING...
  OUACHITA AND PIKE. IN WESTERN ARKANSAS...JOHNSON...LOGAN...
  MONTGOMERY...POLK AND SCOTT.

* THROUGH TUESDAY AFTERNOON

* WIDESPREAD SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE ACROSS THE
  AREA THIS AFTERNOON...BEFORE DECREASING IN COVERAGE THIS EVENING.
  RAINFALL OF 1 TO 2 INCHES WILL BE COMMON...WITH LOCALLY HIGHER
  AMOUNTS. THE RAINFALL WILL FALL IN A VERY SHORT TIME
  FRAME...WITH RUN OFF LIKELY.

  THERE WILL SMALLER RAIN CHANCES ACROSS THE REGION FOR MEMORIAL
  DAY...BEFORE ANOTHER ROUND OF HEAVY RAINFALL MOVES INTO THE
  STATE MONDAY NIGHT INTO TUESDAY. THE SECOND ROUND OF RAINFALL IS
  EXPECTED TO BRING WIDESPREAD 2 TO 4 INCH RAINFALL AMOUNTS...WITH
  MORE FLOODING ISSUES EXPECTED.

* THE SOIL ACROSS MUCH OF ARKANSAS REMAINS SATURATED FROM THE
  HEAVY RAINFALL THAT OCCURRED DURING THE MONTH OF MAY. MANY
  RIVERS AND STREAMS ARE STILL AT UNSEASONABLY HIGH LEVELS...
  WITH ANY ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAINFALL ONLY INCREASING THE
  POTENTIAL FOR FLASH FLOODING.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH MEANS THAT CONDITIONS MAY DEVELOP THAT LEAD
TO FLASH FLOODING. FLASH FLOODING IS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION.

YOU SHOULD MONITOR LATER FORECASTS AND BE PREPARED TO TAKE ACTION
SHOULD FLASH FLOOD WARNINGS BE ISSUED.
