...FLASH FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM PST THIS
EVENING...

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* The Chetco Bar wildfire burn scar in Curry County. This does NOT
  include the cities of Brookings, Harbor, or Pistol River.

* Until 10 PM PST this evening

* Rainfall rates will increase again this afternoon. Additional
  amounts of 2 to 3 inches with up to 5 inches in higher terrain
  is expected through early Tuesday morning. However, rainfall
  rates are expected to diminish after 10 PM PST.

* Land/mudslides and debris flows will be possible.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.

Landslides and debris flows are possible during this flood event.
People, structures and roads located below steep slopes, in
canyons and near the mouths of canyons may be at serious risk
from rapidly moving landslides.
