THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN RAPID CITY HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  SOUTHEASTERN TRIPP COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL SOUTH DAKOTA...

* UNTIL 100 PM CDT

* AT 914 AM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
  SLOW MOVING THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAINFALL ACROSS THE
  WARNED AREA. RADAR ESTIMATES INDICATE 2 TO 4 INCHES OF RAIN HAS
  FALLEN SINCE 730 AM CDT. AN ADDITIONAL 1 TO 2 INCHES OF RAIN IS
  POSSIBLE THROUGH 11 AM CDT.

* RUNOFF FROM THIS EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING TO
  OCCUR. SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
  WEWELA AND RURAL AREAS OF FAR SOUTHEASTERN TRIPP COUNTY.

THIS INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING STREAMS AND DRAINAGES...LUTE
CREEK...BUFFALO CREEK...AND THE KEYA PAHA RIVER.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY.
