...A FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 900 AM CDT FOR SIOUX
COUNTY...

AT 355 AM CDT...THUNDERSTORMS HAD MOVED OUT OF SIOUX COUNTY.
HOWEVER...THERE REMAINS A CHANCE OF ADDITIONAL THUNDERSTORM
DEVELOPMENT THROUGH THIS MORNING.

DOPPLER RADAR ESTIMATED THAT 3 TO 6 INCHES OF RAIN FELL OVER PARTS
OF SIOUX COUNTY FRIDAY EVENING. THE HEAVIEST RAINFALL OCCURRED TO
THE NORTH AND EAST OF SELFRIDGE. RUNOFF FROM THIS EARLIER RAINFALL
IS LIKELY STILL PRODUCING FLOODING ACROSS PARTS OF SIOUX COUNTY.
ANY HIGH WATER WILL RECEDE SATURDAY.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODING.

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS...COUNTRY ROADS...FARMLAND...AND OTHER LOW LYING
SPOTS.
