...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Wyoming...

  Laramie River at Laramie affecting Albany County
  Laramie River near Fort Laramie affecting Goshen County

.Hydrologic Summary...

Upstream reservior releases will keep the Laramie River at
Fort Laramie high through the upcoming week. Snow melt continues
for the headwaters and tributaries of the Laramie River south of
Laramie. Colder temperatures have slowed the snow melt...but
scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected each day this
week that could add additional short notice rises to the river.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive through flooded areas. Move to higher ground. The water
may be deep enough to float you and your vehicle. Turn around, don`t
drown.

The next statement will be issued Tuesday morning.

* Flood Warning continues for
  The Laramie River at Laramie.
* For the Laramie River at Laramie...minor flooding is occurring...with
  a stage of 8.8 feet measured at 7 PM Monday.
* Moderate flooding is forecasted...with a maximum stage of 9.1 feet...
  which is 1.1 feet above flood stage.
* The river will crest around 9.0 feet Tuesday night.
* Impact...at 10.0 feet...Major flooding occurs along greenway at Park
  and Spruce Streets. Houses in vicinity of greenway experience major
  flooding. Major flooding of mobile home park along south end of
  McCue Street along the left river bank. Water overflows banks in
  Lee Trailer Court located just north of Curtis Street. Warehouses
  along Cedar Street will flood. Houses in Cottonwood Estates
  experience minor flooding.
* Flood history...This crest compares to a previous crest of 8.8 feet
  on Jun 14 2015.

* Flood Warning continues for
  The Laramie River near Fort Laramie.
* For the Laramie River near Fort Laramie...moderate flooding is
  occurring...with a stage of 8.0 feet measured at 7 PM Monday.
* Moderate flooding is forecast to continue, with the stage remaining
  near 8.0 feet through the week.
* Impact...at 8.0 feet...Water reaches the base of the bridge of
  Highway 160 immediately west of the Fort Laramie State Park
  property (about 1.5 miles upstream from the gage).
* Flood history...This crest compares to a previous crest of 8.0 feet
  on May 6 1971.
