  Mississippi River Near Arkansas City affecting Chicot...Desha...
  Bolivar and Washington Counties
  Mississippi River Near Greenville affecting Chicot...East
  Carroll...Issaquena and Washington Counties
  Mississippi River At Vicksburg affecting Madison...Tensas...
  Claiborne...Jefferson and Warren Counties/Parishes
  Mississippi River At Natchez affecting Concordia...Adams and
  Wilkinson Counties/Parishes

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive or walk through areas where water covers roadway! The
water may be deeper than it appears. Remember...Turn around, don`t
drown!

Mississippi River forecasts are based on rainfall that has occurred
and that which is forecast to occur over the next 48 hours.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Mississippi River Near Arkansas City
* from Sunday March 04 to Tuesday March 13.
* At  7:00 PM Thursday the stage was 28.7 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 37.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage Sunday March 04
  and will continue to rise to near 38.5 feet  Friday March 09. The
  river will fall below flood stage Monday March 12.
* Impact...At 37.0 feet...The low silt plain in front of arkansas city
  inside the levee system begins to flood along with widespread
  bottomland flooding at huntington point mississippi.
* Impact...At 35.0 feet...The Road to donaldson point is cut off.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Mississippi River Near Greenville
* from Sunday March 04 to Thursday March 15.
* At  7:00 PM Thursday the stage was 39.3 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 48.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage Sunday March 04
  and will continue to rise to near 50.5 feet  Saturday March 10. The
  river will fall below flood stage Wednesday March 14.
* Impact...At 50.0 feet...Upper Lake Ferguson Road and Warfield Point
  Park are closed.
* Impact...At 48.0 feet...Water begins to cover the dirt road leading
  to the Farmers Grain terminal facility which is north of the
  Greenville bridge.
* Impact...At 45.0 feet...Lower Lake Ferguson Road is closed. Warfield
  Point Park is closed.
* Impact...At 44.5 feet...Road to Bunge Corporation grain elevators is
  under water.
* Impact...At 43.5 feet...Lower Lake Ferguson Road begins to flood.
* Impact...At 42.0 feet...Flooding is occurring around Lake Ferguson.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Mississippi River At Vicksburg
* from Sunday March 04 to Friday March 16.
* At  7:00 PM Thursday the stage was 34.2 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 43.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage Sunday March 04
  and will continue to rise to near 45.5 feet  Monday March 12. The
  river will fall below flood stage Thursday March 15.
* Impact...At 36.5 feet...Water begins to affect the Long Lake
  Community. The low road to Kings Island becomes impassable.
* Impact...At 35.0 feet...Several thousand acres of farm,
  agricultural, and bottom land flood. In the Yazoo Backwater Area
  north of the city, hunting camps and forested land begin to flood.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Mississippi River At Natchez
* from Saturday March 03 to Monday March 19.
* At  7:00 PM Thursday the stage was 40.5 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 48.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage Saturday March 03
  and will continue to rise to near 51.5 feet  Wednesday March 14.
  The river will fall below flood stage Sunday March 18.
* Impact...At 51.0 feet...Water is covering the roads in old downtown
  area of Fort Adams.
* Impact...At 48.0 feet...Carthage Point Road becomes impassable.
* Impact...At 47.0 feet...Water begins to enter the former Belwood
  Golf Course and Carthage Point Road area south of Natchez.
* Impact...At 45.0 feet...Water under some buildings around Fort
  Adams, Mississippi.
* Impact...At 44.0 feet...Some camps and most access roads are flooded
  along Lake Mary.
* Impact...At 43.0 feet...Water covers Thornburg Lake Road in the area
  known as Anna`s Bottom which is north of Natchez. Also, Lake Mary
  Road is under water.
* Impact...At 38.0 feet...Lowlands along the river in areas not
  protected by levees begin to flood. On both side of the river,
  there are areas that contain oil and gas wells; however, these are
  not affected until higher stages.
