...THE FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 915 PM EDT FOR
SOUTHWESTERN ANSON COUNTY...

At 702 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated the earlier thunderstorms
with heavy rain have weakened and moved west of the advisory area.
Nonetheless, around three inches of rain has fallen since just
before 6 pm, and this will result in a continued threat of flooding
through 8 pm.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Little Brown Creek, Pinch Gut Creek, and Leggett Branch.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
