...Forecast flooding changed from Minor to Moderate severity for the
following rivers in Iowa...

  Cedar River near Conesville affecting Cedar...Louisa AND Muscatine
  COUNTIES

.A likely ice jam between Columbus Junction and Conesville has pushed
the Cedar River near Conesville into moderate flooding. Additional
fluctuations or rapid changes in the river level is possible due to
the ice action.

River forecasts include past precipitation and forecast rainfall for
the next 48 hours.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you encounter a flooded roadway, turn around and find an
alternate route. Turn around, don`t drown.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Cedar River near Conesville.
* Until further notice.
* At 10:00 PM Saturday the stage was 15.1 feet...and steady.
* Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and is forecast to continue.
* Recent activity...A likely ice jam between Columbus Junction and
  Conesville will lead to additional fluctuations in the river level.
* Forecast...Remain near 15.1 feet into Sunday morning...then begin falling.
  Ice action will cause rapid fluctuations of possibly 1 to 2 feet. Stages
  may go higher than forecast.
* Impact...At  15.0 feet...Water affects Saulsbury Road.
