FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR CENTRAL SOUTH CAROLINA
AND EAST CENTRAL GEORGIA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE COLUMBIA SC
255 PM EDT FRI AUG 26 2016

.DISCUSSION...HIGH PRESSURE CENTERED TO THE NORTH AND EAST WILL
CONTINUE TO INHIBIT SHOWER AND THUNDERSTORM DEVELOPMENT THROUGH
SATURDAY. ONLY ISOLATED ACTIVITY IS EXPECTED.

A WEAK PRESSURE GRADIENT WILL SUPPORT POOR DISPERSION THIS
EVENING THROUGH EARLY SATURDAY MORNING. LOW-LEVEL MOISTURE WILL
BE HIGH ENOUGH FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF PATCHY FOG MAINLY NEAR
RIVER VALLEYS LATE TONIGHT.

SURFACE WINDS SATURDAY WILL BE FROM THE EAST-NORTHEAST LESS THAN
5 MPH AFTER DAYBREAK...THEN BECOME EAST AROUND 10 MPH FOR THE
AFTERNOON. TRANSPORT WINDS WILL INCREASE TO 10 TO 15 MPH.
RELATIVE HUMIDITIES WILL DROP INTO THE 40 TO 45 PERCENT RANGE.
