Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central South Carolina
and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
429 AM EDT Wed Aug 16 2017

.DISCUSSION...Moisture will remain high with a pressure
trough in the forecast area through Friday. The trough
and heating will help support thunderstorms but coverage
should remain limited because of upper ridging. This
ridging will help cause hot conditions with heat index
values peaking 102 to 108. Expect areas of late night and
morning fog with dissipation around 900 am. Wind will be
light and variable.
