Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central Pennsylvania
National Weather Service State College PA
1103 AM EDT Tue Sep 19 2017

.DISCUSSION...
A ridge of high pressure at the surface and aloft will stay
locked in place over Pennsylvania for the next 7 days. This
dominant weather feature will provide fair, warm and generally
dry weather throughout this entire period.

Hurricane Jose will meander gradually to the north and just
several hundred miles off the East Coast today and Wednesday.
This storm will have little or no adverse effect on our local
weather outside of some clouds across and a low probability
of showers across the eastern third of the state.
