FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR NORTHERN ALABAMA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HUNTSVILLE AL
257 AM CST SUN JAN 25 2015

.DISCUSSION...
A QUICK MOVING SYSTEM MOVING IN FROM THE CENTRAL PLAINS WILL BEGIN
TO SPREAD LIGHT RAIN OVER THE AREA THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING.
THERE IS A CHANCE FOR A RAIN/SNOW MIX TONIGHT AS TEMPERATURES LOWER
TO NEAR FREEZING. THIS MAY CHANGE OVER TO ALL SNOW BY MONDAY MORNING
WITH ONLY MINOR ACCUMULATIONS POSSIBLE ALONG THE PLATEAU OF
NORTHEASTERN ALABAMA AND SOUTHERN TENNESSEE. PRECIP SHOULD COME TO
END FOR THE ENTIRE AREA BY MONDAY MORNING.

WINDS WILL INITIALLY BE OUT OF THE SOUTHWEST TODAY THEN SWITCH
TO NORTHWEST OVERNIGHT AND REMAIN OUT OF THE NORTHWEST THROUGH
WEDNESDAY. DRY WEATHER IS EXPECTED FOR MUCH OF THE WEEK WITH RH
VALUES REMAINING ABOVE CRITICAL LEVELS.
