Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central/Southeast Illinois
National Weather Service Lincoln IL
238 PM CST Mon Nov 20 2017

.DISCUSSION...
A cold front will cross the area early Tuesday. The front is
expected to come through dry, but a significant winds shift will
occur with its passage. Southerly winds tonight ahead of the front
will become west to northwest in its wake. While wind speeds will
be a little lighter on Tuesday, gusts in excess of 20 MPH are
still likely. High pressure will build across the area Wednesday,
accompanied by much lighter winds.

Smoke dispersion will generally be fair to good tomorrow and poor
on Wednesday. Mixing heights are expected to be relatively low
overall, but wind speeds will be strong enough tomorrow to transport
smoke away from any burn sites.

There is minimal risk of measurable precipitation into at least
the beginning of next week.
