.DISCUSSION...A COLD FRONT WILL DROP SOUTHEAST THROUGH THE
REGION TONIGHT AND EARLY WEDNESDAY...AND THEN NEARLY STALL
AS A WAVE OF LOW PRESSURE TRAVELS ALONG IT SOUTHEAST OF THE
APPALACHIAN`S. PLENTY OF MOISTURE WILL BE PRESENT ALONG THE
FRONT. THIS WILL INITIALLY RESULT IN RAIN FOR OUR AREA
TONIGHT AND WEDNESDAY. AS COLDER AIR ARRIVES...IT WILL
CHANGE TO SLEET...AND THEN SNOW...WITH THE CHANGE OCCURRING
FROM NORTHWEST TO SOUTHEAST LATE WEDNESDAY AND WEDNESDAY
NIGHT. ANY LINGERING SNOW WILL TAPER OFF ON THURSDAY...WITH
UNUSUALLY COLD AIR CONTINUING TO SETTLE INTO THE REGION.
