FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE LOUISVILLE KY
331 AM EST MON MAR 2 2015

.DISCUSSION...HIGH PRESSURE WILL BUILD INTO THE REGION TODAY
GIVING THE AREA A BRIEF REPRIEVE FROM THE ACTIVE WEATHER PATTERN.
THE NEXT WEATHER SYSTEM WILL PUSH INTO THE REGION FROM THE
SOUTHWEST TONIGHT BRINGING A PRECIPITATION BACK INTO THE REGION.
SOME OF THIS PRECIPITATION MAY START OFF AS A LIGHT WINTRY MIX BUT
CHANGE TO PLAIN RATHER QUICKLY AFTER SUNRISE TUESDAY. PERIODS OF
MODERATE TO HEAVY RAINFALL WITH SOME EMBEDDED THUNDERSTORMS WILL
BE POSSIBLE TUESDAY AND TUESDAY NIGHT AS THE FRONTAL SYSTEM PUSHES
THROUGH THE REGION. COLDER AIR IS LIKELY TO QUICKLY DROP BACK INTO
THE REGION ON WEDNESDAY WHICH WILL LEAD PRECIPITATION TO CHANGE
BACK OVER TO SNOW. SOME SNOW ACCUMULATIONS ARE POSSIBLE WEDNESDAY
AND WILL DEPENDENT ON HOW FAST TEMPERATURES COOL THROUGHOUT THE
DAY.
