FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR UPPER MICHIGAN

...Breezy for the east half today then dry and warm for
the weekend...

.DISCUSSION: There could be a few light showers this afternoon
over the interior west half of Upper Michigan before high
pressure brings dry weather in Friday through the weekend.
North winds will gust to 20 mph ahead of the high today over
the east half with the strongest winds mid to late afternoon.
Northeast winds will gust to 15 mph on Friday over much of
Upper Michigan. Winds this weekend will be light, generally
less than 10 mph. Minimum humidity today will fall into the
40s but could bottom out in the 30s Fri through Sun while high
temperatures reach the low to mid 80s, warmest inland. Chances
for scattered showers and thunderstorms will return early next
week.
