Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Middle Tennessee
National Weather Service Nashville TN
303 PM CST Thu Dec 14 2017

.DISCUSSION...

Dry conditions are expected to continue across the mid state region
through Saturday evening. This due to building surface high pressure
influences surface and aloft. Minimum afternoon relative humidity
values on Friday afternoon will generally span the mid 40s to mid
50s. Minimum afternoon relative humidity values on Saturday afternoon
will generally span the low to mid 40s. A surface front along with an
upper level disturbance moving in from the Rio Grande Valley by late
Saturday night into Sunday will provide for a chance of moderate
rainfall on Sunday morning, tapering off to light rainfall during
the afternoon hours. An unsettled weather pattern will persist across
the mid state region Monday into Tuesday afternoon before another
surface front moves through the area by late Tuesday afternoon.
Dry conditions due to building high pressure influences will return
back to the mid state region Wednesday into Thursday.
