Fire Weather Planning Forecast for NW Oregon and SW Washington
National Weather Service Portland OR
218 PM PDT Mon Mar 27 2017

.BROADCAST DISCUSSION...Showers today decreasing late this
afternoon. Rain returns Tuesday but rain chances favor areas
close to the Oregon-Washington border. More moderate to heavy
rain returns in earnest Wednesday...turning to on and off showers
Wednesday night into Thursday. Friday looks like a genuinely dry
day as far as rain is concerned, but will continue to see
excellent humidity recovery.

.DISCUSSION...Showers today will taper off late this afternoon and
evening. Will see some rain Tuesday but favoring areas near the
Oregon-Washington border. A front with more moisture will move
through the area Wednesday for higher chances of wetting rain
across the region then turning to showers Wednesday afternoon or
evening through Thursday. Friday currently looks dry with no rain
but still high nighttime humidity and not dropping below about 50
percent during the daytime. Overall the area will remain in a
progressive pattern over the next week with not more than a day or
two of dry weather and winds out of the south or west. Bowen
