Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southwest and South-Central
Arizona and Southeast California
National Weather Service Phoenix AZ
502 AM MST Mon Feb 19 2018

.DISCUSSION...
A cold front will sweep through the Desert Southwest today,
bringing cooler and widespread windy conditions. Winds will be
strongest across southeastern California and across the higher
terrain north and east of Phoenix, where gusts could reach 45 mph.
Scattered showers are also expected across the higher terrain
today, before much drier air moves into the area late this
afternoon. Colder and significantly drier air will overspread the
region Tuesday, in the wake of the departing weather system.

Note...Additional Fire Weather Forecast information can be found
in the Area Forecast Discussion. See product PHXAFDPSR.
