.Discussion...

Drier air will spread into the western half of the area
today and Monday, with only some very isolated showers and
thunderstorms along the Continental Divide and across
interior valleys. Slightly deeper moisture will remain
across the eastern mountains and plains, with scattered
showers and thunderstorms both today and Monday. After
some brief drying on Tuesday, moisture will spread
northward across the region from Wednesday into the end
of the week, with rainfall chances returning to most
locations. Temperatures areawide will remain below
seasonal averages the next several days.

Afternoon smoke dispersion will be very good to excellent
over interior valleys and along the Continental Divide today
and again Monday, while the eastern mountains and plains
see only poor to fair values both days.
