FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR SOUTHWEST ARKANSAS...
NORTHWEST LOUISIANA...EAST TEXAS...AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SHREVEPORT LA
628 AM CST MON DEC 5 2016

.DISCUSSION...
ONE MORE DAY OF STEADY RAINFALL BEFORE WE FINALLY CATCH A BREAK
ON TUESDAY. CLOUDS WILL LINGER THROUGH MID WEEK WITH A VERY STRONG
ARCTIC COLD FRONT PUSHING THROUGH THE REGION LATER ON TUESDAY INTO
WEDNESDAY. THIS WILL RESULT IN WIDESPREAD FREEZING TEMPERATURE IN
THE LOWER TO MID 20S ON FRIDAY MORNING WITH WITH SOME UPPER TEENS
POSSIBLE ACROSS OUR SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA AND THE ADJACENT SOUTHWEST
ARKANSAS FIRE DISTRICTS. MORE FREEZING TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED
ON SATURDAY MORNING WITH MID TO UPPER 20S BEFORE A MODEST WARM-UP
BEGINS LATER IN THE WEEKEND. EAST NORTHEAST WINDS BETWEEN 5-10 MPH
TODAY WILL BECOME LIGHT VARIABLE TONIGHT AND THEN SHIFT QUICKLY TO
THE NORTH NORTHWEST FROM MID TO LATE WEEK BEHIND THE COLD FRONT.
