An upper low over the region will keep the marine  layer around
2000 feet deep today. In addition temperatures will  remain around
normal today with a southwesterly onshore wind  flow. A modest
warming trend will begin by Thursday and Friday  with temperatures
near or slightly above normal and a more  compressed marine layer.
Warm temperatures inland will persist  through the weekend and into
early next week.

Upper level low generating some instability over northern  mountains
through Wednesday. Near normal temperatures through  Wednesday with
increased humidity and enhanced onshore winds.  Chance of isolated
afternoon storms today and Wednesday over  higher terrain of Shasta,
Tehama, and Plumas counties. Trending  warmer and drier later this
week.
