Dry and cool weather is expected to persist in most areas through
Sunday morning. A weather system is forecast to spread moderate to
locally heavy rain across the North Bay Sunday afternoon through
Sunday night, along with locally gusty south winds. Rain will
develop farther south late Sunday night and early Monday but
rainfall amounts south of the Golden Gate will be light. Dry and
mild weather is forecast for most areas from late Monday through
early Wednesday. The next weather system is currently projected to
spread soaking rains across the entire district from Wednesday
afternoon through Wednesday night.

...Discussion from SFOFWFSTO...

A cool Pacific storm spreads into Northern California through the
day Sunday with rain and accumulating mountain snow continuing into
Monday. Moderate to locally low snow levels are expected. Lighter
showers Tuesday will be followed by another period of rain and
potentially heavy mountain snow mid week as another moderately
strong, cool storm moves through.
