An incoming low pressure system and cold front will provide strong
and gusty winds along with increased moisture on Thursday. Winds
will increase through Thursday afternoon with peak winds occurring
late afternoon to early evening for valleys and overnight through
foothills and ridges. Gusty conditions continue Thursday night as
the cold front moves through. This front will bring a good
potential for wetting rains. Drier weather and light winds will
return through next week as high pressure returns.

Poor poor humidity recovery will continue along Sierra ridges
tonight before an incoming low pressure system provides strong and
gusty winds and increased moisture. Strong winds are expected
through the Sierra by late Thursday afternoon and will continue
Thursday night as a cold front moves through. This front
will bring wetting rains along with cooler conditions on Friday.
Drier weather and light winds will return through next week as
high pressure returns.
