WARM AND DRY CONDITIONS WILL CONTINUE THROUGH MIDWEEK. BREEZY
CONDITIONS WILL DEVELOP WITH SOUTHERLY WINDS AROUND 20 MPH AND
RELATIVE HUMIDITIES FALLING NEAR OR BELOW 10 PERCENT ACROSS SOUTHERN
PORTIONS OF THE AREA WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY. RAIN AND THUNDERSTORM
CHANCES SPREAD ACROSS THE AREA THURSDAY NIGHT AND LAST THROUGH THE
WEEKEND.

THROUGH WEDNESDAY...A COOLING TREND WILL DEVELOP NEAR THE COAST AND
SPREAD INLAND AS A SLOW MOVING LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM OVER THE EASTERN
PACIFIC MOVES TOWARD THE CALIFORNIA COAST. THE MARINE LAYER WILL
DEEPEN SIGNIFICANTLY WEDNESDAY NIGHT INTO THURSDAY WITH LIGHT
SHOWERS DEVELOPING ALONG AND WEST OF THE MOUNTAINS LATE WEDNESDAY
NIGHT INTO THURSDAY. FOR THURSDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH FRIDAY
NIGHT...THE LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL MOVE INLAND THROUGH SOUTHERN
CALIFORNIA AND INTO THE SOUTHWEST STATES WITH SCATTERED SHOWERS AND
A SLIGHT CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS WITH GUSTY WEST WINDS FOR THE
MOUNTAINS THURSDAY AND FRIDAY. THE CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND SLIGHT
CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE INTO THE WEEKEND...MAINLY
DURING THE AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING WITH GREATEST COVERAGE OVER
THE MOUNTAINS.

WITH HIGH PRESSURE IN PLACE ON THURSDAY EXPECT SIGNIFICANTLY ABOVE
NORMAL HIGH TEMPERATURES IN THE UPPER 90S TO 100 ON WEDNESDAY AND
FALLING TO NEAR NORMAL ON THURSDAY. VERY DRY MINIMUM RELATIVE
HUMIDITIES WILL RANGE IN THE 7 TO 12 PERCENT RANGE THROUGH THURSDAY.
VERY BREEZY SOUTH AND SOUTHWESTERLY WINDS WILL DEVELOP IN SOUTHEAST
CA AND THE LOWER COLORADO RIVER VALLEY ON WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON WITH
GUSTS OF 25 TO 30 MPH. ON THURSDAY AFTERNOON WINDY CONDITIONS WILL
SPREAD INTO THE LOWER DESERTS WITH WINDS GUSTING IN THE LOW 30S TO
40 MPH THROUGH THE EARLY EVENING IN ADVANCE OF THE NEXT COLD FRONT.
