...DISCUSSION FROM RNOFWFVEF...

A TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE WILL MOVE EASTWARD ACROSS THE REGION TODAY
AND EXIT TO THE EAST LATE TONIGHT. NUMEROUS TO SCATTERED RAIN AND
HIGH ELEVATION SNOW SHOWERS ARE EXPECTED THROUGH TONIGHT. HEAVIEST
PRECIPITATION AMOUNTS ARE EXPECTED ACROSS LINCOLN, CENTRAL NYE, AND
NORTHERN MOHAVE COUNTIES. A COLD FRONT WILL SWEEP THROUGH TODAY
WITH BREEZY NORTHWEST WINDS IN ITS WAKE. IN ADDITION, COLD, DRY AIR
WILL FILTER IN AND REMAIN THROUGH THE WEEKEND. FAIR WEATHER
CONDITIONS AND GRADUALLY WARMING TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED EARLY
THIS WEEK.

...DISCUSSION FROM LAXFWFSGX...

A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM MOVING FROM SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA INTO ARIZONA
WILL BRING MUCH COOLER AND BREEZY CONDITIONS TODAY. SCATTERED
SHOWERS WILL CONTINUE INTO THIS MORNING...THEN END FROM THE
NORTHWEST IN THE AFTERNOON. THERE WILL BE SLOW WARMING FOR
SUNDAY...WITH GREATER WARMING FOR MONDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY WITH
HIGH PRESSURE ALOFT. WEAK OFFSHORE LOWER LEVEL FLOW WILL BRING
LOCALLY GUSTY NORTHEAST WINDS NEAR THE COASTAL FOOTHILLS AT TIMES.
FOR NEXT THURSDAY...ANOTHER FAST MOVING LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM MOVING
INLAND THROUGH CALIFORNIA WILL BRING COOL AND WINDY CONDITIONS WITH
A CHANCE OF MOSTLY LIGHT SHOWERS. THEN DRY WITH A WARMING TREND FOR
FRIDAY THROUGH NEXT WEEKEND AS HIGH PRESSURE ALOFT STRENGTHENS NEAR
THE CALIFORNIA COAST.

...DISCUSSION FROM PHXFWFPSR...

IT WILL BE MUCH COOLER TODAY ALONG WITH BREEZY TO WINDY CONDITIONS
WITH A COLD FRONT MOVING THROUGH THE REGION. PRECIPITATION CHANCES
WILL BE FOCUSED PRIMARILY OVER SOUTH-CENTRAL AZ TODAY AND TONIGHT.
CHANCES FOR WETTING RAIN WILL BE CONFINED TO THE HIGHER TERRAIN OF
SOUTH-CENTRAL AZ. OVERNIGHT LOWS WILL BE MUCH COLDER WITH MOST
DESERT LOCATIONS GETTING INTO THE 30S. LOOK FOR DRY CONDITIONS ON
SUNDAY ALONG WITH LIGHTER WINDS. ANTICIPATE LITTLE CHANGE IN HIGH
TEMPERATURES BUT LOWER MINIMUM HUMIDITIES.
