SPOT FORECAST FOR WILD CARP NORTH...USFS
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MARQUETTE MI
531 AM EDT WED JUL 27 2016

FORECAST IS BASED ON IGNITION TIME OF 1000 EDT ON JULY 27.
IF CONDITIONS BECOME UNREPRESENTATIVE...CONTACT THE NATIONAL WEATHER
SERVICE.

.DISCUSSION...A COLD FRONT PUSHING SOUTH OF UPPER MICHIGAN THIS
MORNING WILL PRODUCE ISOLATED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS
PORTIONS OF EASTERN UPPER MICHIGAN TODAY. THERE IS A SMALL CHANCE
THAT THESE ISOLATED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS MAY SLIDE INTO THE
BURN AREA THIS AFTERNOON. HIGH PRESSURE WILL THEN BUILD INTO THE
UPPER GREAT LAKES ON THURSDAY...BRINGING A COOLER...LESS HUMID DAY
WITH CLEARING SKIES. HIGH PRESSURE WILL THEN DOMINATE THE AREA INTO
THE WEEKEND...RESULTING IN GENERALLY LIGHT WINDS AND SEASONABLE
TEMPERATURES. EXPECT A WARMING TREND EARLY NEXT WEEK WITH LITTLE
CHANCE OF PRECIPITATION UNTIL LATER TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY. THE 8 TO
14 DAY OUTLOOK SHOWS NEAR NORMAL PRECIPITATION EXPECTED FOR THE
UPPER GREAT LAKES.
