FORECAST IS BASED ON REQUEST TIME OF 1654 PDT ON AUGUST 02.
IF CONDITIONS BECOME UNREPRESENTATIVE...CONTACT THE NATIONAL WEATHER
SERVICE IN SEATTLE.

.DISCUSSION...THE UPPER LEVEL RIDGE WHICH HAS BEEN RESPONSIBLE FOR
THE VERY DRY AIR MASS IN RECENT DAYS WILL SHIFT EAST TO THE NORTHERN
ROCKIES BY TONIGHT. THIS WILL ALLOW FOR AN UPPER LEVEL TROUGH TO
MOVE INTO THE AREA BRINGING A PUSH OF ONSHORE FLOW AND INITIATING
A COOLING TREND FOR THE FIRST HALF OF THE WEEK. DAYTIME HIGH
TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED TO COOL TO NEAR NORMAL BY WEDNESDAY. AS
THIS TROUGH SLOWLY MOVES EASTWARD...IT MAY BRING A SLIGHT CHANCE
OF SHOWERS TO THE FIRE SITE BY MIDWEEK.

FORECAST FOR 20 FOOT WIND SPEED (VALLEYS AND RIDGE TOPS) ARE 10
 MINUTE AVERAGES REFLECTING RAWS WINDS.
