Spot Forecast for Navajo Mountain 1
National Weather Service Salt Lake City UT
527 AM MDT Mon Sep 25 2017

.DISCUSSION...A dry airmass will remain in place over the burn
site today and tomorrow with warmer temperatures. Given light
flow, winds should primarily be diurnally terrain-driven. However,
downcanyon winds tonight may be enhanced a bit as it coincides with
a northerly pressure gradient.

The next storm system is still expected to evolve over Arizona
tomorrow. As it lifts northeast, expect moisture to spread into
southeast Utah. Precipitation is expected to develop by late
Wednesday afternoon. However, it may be showery in nature, so
steady or prolonged precipitation may not occur directly over the
burn. Snow levels will be high, with precipitation primarily
falling as rain, and thunderstorms will also be a possibility.
