For waters beyond five nautical miles off shore on Lake Huron

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...Southwesterly winds seen throughout the afternoon
(across St. Clair and Erie) will veer northwesterly by the evening
across all of the lakes as a strong cold front pushes through
Michigan. Wind gusts will continue to peak between 20 - 25 knots
through the evening before high pressure...30.10 inches...starts to
build in from the Central Plains starting Wednesday. High pressure
averaging 30.10 inches will continue to slowly build east and will
settle across the Great Lakes by Thursday. High pressure is then
expected to strengthen slightly to 30.30 inches by Friday afternoon,
and will continue to influence the area through the weekend.

.TONIGHT...West winds 20 to 25 knots with gusts to 35 knot gales
decreasing to 15 to 20 knots late. A chance of waterspouts. Waves
8 to 12 feet. Waves occasionally around 15 feet.
.WEDNESDAY...West winds 15 to 20 knots. Gusts to 30 knots in the
late morning and afternoon. Waterspouts likely. Waves 6 to
9 feet. Waves occasionally around 12 feet.
.WEDNESDAY NIGHT...Northwest winds 15 to 20 knots with gusts to
30 knots decreasing to 10 to 15 knots after midnight. Waterspouts
likely. Waves 5 to 7 feet. Waves occasionally around 10 feet.
.THURSDAY...North winds 10 to 15 knots. Waterspouts likely. Waves
2 to 4 feet subsiding to 1 to 3 feet in the late morning and
afternoon.
.THURSDAY NIGHT...Northwest winds 10 to 15 knots. Waterspouts
likely early in the evening. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
.FRIDAY...North winds 5 to 10 knots backing to the northwest late
in the evening. Waves 2 feet or less.
.SATURDAY...Northwest winds 5 to 10 knots early in the morning
becoming light and variable. Waves 2 feet or less.
.SUNDAY...Light and variable winds becoming east 5 to 10 knots
until early morning. Waves 2 feet or less.
