THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL IOWA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

SHOWERS AND ISOLATED NON SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TO
PUSH SLOWLY SOUTHEAST THROUGH THE DAY TODAY WITH THE RAINFALL
LINGERING IN THE EAST THIS AFTERNOON. SOME OF THE STORMS MAY
PRODUCE LOCALLY HEAVY DOWNPOURS AT TIMES.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY

SEVERAL ROUNDS OF THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED MAINLY WEDNESDAY
AFTERNOON THROUGH THURSDAY. SOME OF THE STORMS MAY BE STRONG TO
SEVERE AT TIMES FROM WEDNESDAY NIGHT INTO EARLY AFTERNOON
THURSDAY. ADDITIONAL STORMS ARE POSSIBLE NEXT WEEKEND. THE TIMING
AND COVERAGE OF THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY FROM WEDNESDAY ON WILL BE
BETTER DETERMINED IN THE NEXT FEW DAYS.

SPOTTER ACTIVATION WILL NOT BE NEEDED TONIGHT OR MONDAY BUT MAY
BE NEEDED NEXT WEDNESDAY OR THURSDAY.
