This hazardous weather outlook is for northwest California.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

No hazardous weather is expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

A cold upper-level storm system will enter the region Friday and
Saturday. Accumulating snowfall will be likely for elevations above
1500 feet as a result. A second storm system will produce additional
high elevation snowfall during Sunday.

Spotter activation is not expected at this time.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM PST THIS MORNING...

This hazardous weather outlook is for northwest California.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Snow showers will dissipate across the area Thursday morning.
However, chain requirements remain in effect for highway 36 between
Dinsmore and Forest Glen.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

A cold upper-level storm system will enter the region Friday and
Saturday. Accumulating snowfall will be likely across much of Trinity
County as a result. A second storm system will produce additional
snowfall during Sunday.

SATURDAY MORNING...

This hazardous weather outlook is for northwest California.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Snow showers will dissipate across the area Thursday morning.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

A winter storm watch is in effect for locally heavy snow
accumulations from 5 to 9 inches for elevations above 1500 feet
Friday afternoon through Saturday morning. Additional snowfall will
be possible Sunday.
