...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 AM PDT EARLY THIS MORNING...

This hazardous weather outlook is for northwest California.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

A Wind Advisory IS CURRENTLY IN EFFECT.

A strong storm system passing by to our northwest will send a cold
front across the region today. Periods of locally heavy rainfall and
mudslides remain possible during this time.

Through this morning...sustained south winds of 25 to 35 mph are
likely...with gusts to 55 mph possible for coastal Del Norte County.
Gusts to 65 mph are possible for locations above 1000 feet across
interior Del Norte and Humboldt counties, as well as near the King
Range across southwestern portions of Humboldt County. Winds will
start to diminish this afternoon.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Another storm system may bring periods of heavy rain and gusty winds
Sunday and Monday as well.

This hazardous weather outlook is for northwest California.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

A strong storm system passing by to our northwest will send a cold
front across the region today. Periods of locally heavy rainfall and
mudslides remain possible during this time.

Snow levels will fall to around 3000 to 4000 feet in the
northeastern portion of Trinity County late tonight and early
tomorrow morning. As a result, light slushy snow accumulations will
be possible along Highway 3 at these elevations...with several
inches expected at Scott Mountain Pass.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Another storm system may bring periods of heavy rain and gusty winds
Sunday and Monday as well.
