THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR APACHE...COCONINO...
NORTHERN GILA...NAVAJO...AND YAVAPAI COUNTIES IN NORTHERN
ARIZONA.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

RAIN AND SNOW SHOWERS WILL CONTINUE TO TAPER OFF FROM WEST TO
EAST THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING, HOLDING ON THE LONGEST IN THE
WHITE MOUNTAINS REGION. HAZARDOUS WINTER WEATHER DRIVING
CONDITIONS IN SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW WILL PERSIST ACROSS PORTIONS
OF GILA, NAVAJO AND APACHE COUNTIES, PRIMARILY FOR ELEVATIONS
ABOVE 5500 FEET.

THE REMAINING WINTER STORM WARNINGS AND ADVISORIES FOR ELEVATIONS
ABOVE 5500 FEET WILL EXPIRE AT 6 PM THIS EVENING.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

A THIRD STORM SYSTEM IS FORECAST TO BRING RAIN AND SNOW, AS WELL
AS VERY STRONG WINDS, TO NORTHERN ARIZONA ON SUNDAY AND MONDAY.
RAIN AND SNOW IS EXPECTED TO INCREASE FROM WEST TO EAST BEGINNING
SUNDAY AFTERNOON. THE BEST CHANCES FOR PRECIPITATION WILL BE
FROM SUNDAY EVENING THROUGH LATE MONDAY NIGHT.

A WINTER STORM WATCH HAS BEEN ISSUED FROM SUNDAY EVENING THROUGH
LATE MONDAY NIGHT ABOVE 6000 FEET ALONG THE MOGOLLON RIM, KAIBAB
PLATEAU AND IN YAVAPAI COUNTY. IN THESE AREA, 6 TO 12 INCHES OF
SNOW IS POSSIBLE ABOVE 6000 FEET, WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS
ALONG SOUTHWEST FACING SLOPES OF THE MOGOLLON RIM. FOR MORE

DANGEROUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS ARE LIKELY DUE TO SNOW PACKED AND
SLICK ROADS. VISIBILITIES COULD ALSO BE SEVERELY REDUCED DUE TO
BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW.

CLEARING IS EXPECTED ON TUESDAY, BUT VERY COLD MORNING LOW
TEMPERATURES ARE FORECAST THROUGH THE WEEK. LOW TEMPERATURES IN
THE TEENS TO SINGLE DIGITS ARE LIKELY ACROSS THE MAJORITY OF
NORTHERN ARIZONA`S HIGH COUNTRY.
