This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and
north central Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

Wind gusts up to 20 to 30 MPH will combine with dry air over much
of the Sandhills and southwest Nebraska to promote elevated fire
weather conditions this afternoon.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY.

Windy and dry conditions are expected on Monday. Of which,
northwest gusts up to 40 to 50 MPH are forecast. The strongest
winds will be located over the eastern Panhandle and portions of
north central Nebraska.

Strong northwest winds are expected again Tuesday with wind gusts
forecast up to 25 to 40 MPH, strongest over north central
Nebraska. These winds will coincide with dry conditions in the
afternoon also.
