...DANGEROUS CONDITIONS POSSIBLE IN NORTH FACING HARBORS...

A VERY LARGE NORTH SWELL WILL CONTINUE TO IMPACT THE COASTAL
WATERS. THE SWELL...AND STRONG NORTHEAST WINDS WILL COMBINE TO
PRODUCE LARGE BREAKING WAVES IN NORTH FACING HARBOR ENTRANCES AND
MAY CAUSE HARBOR SURGES. HALEIWA BOAT HARBOR...HILO HARBOR AND
KAHULUI HARBOR ARE LIKELY TO BE AFFECTED. MARINERS USING THESE
HARBORS SHOULD EXERCISE CAUTION WHEN ENTERING OR LEAVING PORT AND
WHEN MOORING OR LAUNCHING VESSELS. THE SWELL IS EXPECTED TO SLOWLY
SUBSIDE THROUGH SATURDAY...WHILE TRADE WINDS INCREASE.
