  CHANDELEUR SOUND...
  COASTAL WATERS FROM PASCAGOULA MISSISSIPPI TO STAKE ISLAND OUT 20
  NM...
  MISSISSIPPI SOUND...

AT 406 AM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A LARGE CLUSTER OF STRONG
THUNDERSTORMS...CAPABLE OF PRODUCING WINDS UP TO 33 KNOTS AND
WATERSPOUTS. THIS CLUSTER WAS LOCATED MAINLY OVER THE MISSISSIPPI
SOUND BELOW THE ENTRANCE TO THE BILOXI BACK BAY...AND WAS NEARLY
STATIONARY.

COMMERCIAL INTERESTS VENTURING OUT ON THIS OPENING DAY OF SHRIMP
SEASON SHOULD CLOSELY MONITOR THE WEATHER SITUATION IN THE
MISSISSIPPI COASTAL WATERS THIS MORNING.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

MARINERS CAN EXPECT GUSTY WINDS UP TO 33 KNOTS...LOCALLY HIGHER
WAVES...LIGHTNING STRIKES...AND HEAVY DOWNPOURS. WATERSPOUTS ARE
ALSO POSSIBLE. BOATERS SHOULD SEEK SAFE HARBOR IMMEDIATELY UNTIL
THIS STORM PASSES.
