THE AREAS AFFECTED INCLUDE...
  COASTAL WATERS FROM MANASQUAN INLET TO LITTLE EGG INLET NJ OUT 20
  NM...
  COASTAL WATERS FROM SANDY HOOK TO MANASQUAN INLET NJ OUT 20 NM...

AT 423 PM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF STRONG
THUNDERSTORMS...CAPABLE OF PRODUCING WINDS UP TO 33 KNOTS. THESE
THUNDERSTORMS WERE LOCATED ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM 12 NM NORTH OF
UNION BEACH TO 7 NM SOUTHWEST OF SOUTH AMBOY TO 30 NM NORTHWEST OF
PINE BEACH...MOVING EAST AT 15 KNOTS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

MARINERS CAN EXPECT GUSTY WINDS UP TO 33 KNOTS...LOCALLY HIGHER
WAVES...AND LIGHTNING STRIKES. BOATERS SHOULD SEEK SAFE HARBOR
IMMEDIATELY UNTIL THESE STORMS PASS.

THIS LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL LIKELY PRODUCE WINDS UP TO 33
KNOTS...AND COULD POSE A SERIOUS HAZARD FOR BOATERS. A SPECIAL MARINE
WARNING MAY EVENTUALLY BE REQUIRED WHEN THESE STORMS REACH THE
NEARSHORE WATERS. BOATERS SHOULD CONSIDER HEADING FOR SHORE BEFORE
THESE STORMS ARRIVE.

INTENSE LIGHTNING IS OCCURRING WITH THESE STORMS. IF CAUGHT ON THE
OPEN WATER STAY BELOW DECK IF POSSIBLE...KEEP AWAY FROM UNGROUNDED
METAL OBJECTS.
