WEDNESDAY...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN GREEN BAY HAS ISSUED A GALE
WARNING, WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 10 PM THIS EVENING TO 9 AM CDT
WEDNESDAY.

* WINDS...NORTHWEST WINDS WILL INCREASE RAPIDLY TONIGHT, WITH
  GALES EXPECTED FROM LATE THIS EVENING THROUGH TUESDAY EVENING.
  SOME STORM FORCE GUSTS TO 50 KNOTS ARE POSSIBLE DURING THE DAY
  ON TUESDAY.

* WAVES...WAVES WILL BUILD TO 5 TO 8 FEET...WITH THE HIGHEST
  WAVES EXPECTED TO OCCUR IN THE WATERS OF THE LAKE AND BAY
  ADJACENT TO THE NORTHERN PART OF THE DOOR PENINSULA.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A GALE WARNING MEANS WINDS AROUND 35 KNOTS OR GREATER ARE
EXPECTED.  OPERATING A VESSEL IN GALE CONDITIONS REQUIRES
EXPERIENCE AND PROPERLY EQUIPPED VESSELS.  IT IS HIGHLY
RECOMMENDED THAT MARINERS WITHOUT THE PROPER EXPERIENCE SEEK SAFE
HARBOR PRIOR TO THE ONSET OF GALE CONDITIONS.
