...A STRONG COASTAL STORM WILL DEVELOP OFF THE SOUTHEAST COAST
SUNDAY AND PASS OFF OF THE NORTH CAROLINA COAST SUNDAY NIGHT...

.LOW PRESSURE IS FORECAST TO RAPIDLY STRENGTHEN INTO A STRONG
COASTAL STORM SUNDAY INTO SUNDAY NIGHT, PASSING OFF OF THE NORTH
CAROLINA COAST SUNDAY NIGHT. THE LOW WILL PRODUCE GALE TO STORM
FORCE WINDS SUNDAY AND SUNDAY NIGHT WITH SEAS IN EXCESS OF 15
FEET.

MODERATE TO STRONG WESTERLY FLOW IS EXPECTED IN THE WAKE OF THE
COASTAL LOW AHEAD OF, AND BEHIND, A STRONG COLD FRONT WHICH IS
FORECAST TO MOVE ACROSS THE WATERS MONDAY NIGHT. THIS FLOW WILL
HELP MAINTAIN ELEVATED SEAS OF 6 FEET OR HIGHER THROUGH MUCH OF
NEXT WEEK.
