AT 1030 AM RADAR CONTINUES TO INDICATE BANDS OF LIGHT
PRECIPITATION MOVING ACROSS FAR WEST TEXAS AND SOUTHERN PARTS OF
OTERO COUNTY IN NEW MEXICO. SPOTTER REPORTS SEEM TO INDICATE THAT
THE SNOW LEVEL IS RUNNING AROUND 4500 FEET AT THIS TIME WITH
LOCATIONS BELOW THAT ELEVATION SEEING A SNOW AND RAIN MIX WITH
MOSTLY SNOW ABOVE 4500 FEET. WHERE SNOW IS FALLING ROADS MAY
BECOME SLUSHY WITH EXPOSED SURFACES BEING MOST SUSCEPTIBLE TO
ICING OVER. 1 TO 2 INCHES OF SNOW ARE STILL POSSIBLE IN SOME SPOTS
THROUGH MIDDAY ESPECIALLY ABOVE ABOUT 5000 FEET.
