ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUE TO DEVELOP ACROSS SOUTH CENTRAL
NEW MEXICO. THE STRONGEST STORMS HAVE DEVELOPED OVER THE NORTHERN
SAN ANDRES MOUNTAINS AND ARE DRIFTING WEST TOWARDS THE SIERRA
COUNTY LAKES. OTHER CLUSTERS OF STORMS ARE LOCATED BETWEEN DEMING
AND COLUMBUS...NEAR AKELA AND JUST WEST OF TULAROSA AND THREE
RIVERS. MOST OF THE STORMS ARE MOVING WEST AT ABOUT 10 TO 15 MPH.
EXPECT BRIEF HEAVY RAINFALL OF .25 TO .50 INCH IN LESS THAN ONE
HOUR. WIND GUSTS TO 40 MPH ARE ALSO POSSIBLE NEAR SOME OF THESE
STORMS.
