THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN LINCOLN HAS ISSUED A DENSE FOG
ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM CDT THIS MORNING.

* TIMING...DENSE FOG WILL CONTINUE TO EXPAND ACROSS PORTIONS OF
  EAST CENTRAL AND SOUTHEAST ILLINOIS EARLY THIS MORNING. THE FOG
  WILL BEGIN TO BURN OFF SHORTLY AFTER SUNRISE AND SHOULD HAVE
  LARGELY DISSIPATED BY 9 OR 10 A.M.

* VISIBILITY...WIDSPREAD VISIBILITIES OF ONE QUARTER MILE OR LESS.

* IMPACTS...REDUCED VISIBILITES WILL PRODUCE POTENTIALLY HAZARDOUS
  TRAVEL CONDITIONS EARLY THIS MORNING.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A DENSE FOG ADVISORY MEANS VISIBILITIES WILL FREQUENTLY BE
REDUCED TO LESS THAN ONE QUARTER MILE. IF DRIVING...SLOW DOWN...
USE YOUR HEADLIGHTS...AND LEAVE PLENTY OF DISTANCE AHEAD OF YOU.
