...ELEVATED AND GUSTY SOUTHERLY BREEZES EXPECTED TODAY...

.A low pressure system will move out of the Rockies and across
the Southern Plains today. The pressure gradient associated with
the low will allow southerly winds to increase by afternoon and
become strong and gusty at times.

...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM THIS MORNING TO 6 PM CDT
THIS EVENING...

The National Weather Service in Lake Charles has issued a Wind
Advisory, which is in effect from 10 AM this morning to 6 PM CDT
this evening.

* TIMING...From late morning through the afternoon.

* WINDS...South sustained 20 to 25 mph with gusts to 30 mph.

* IMPACTS...Difficult driving conditions for high profile vehicles
  especially on east-west roadways and on bridges and overpasses.
  Loose lawn objects along with trash cans will be blown around.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Wind Advisory means that winds of 20 mph are expected. Winds
this strong can make driving difficult...especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
