...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM NOON TO 9 PM PDT
WEDNESDAY...

* WINDS...West 20 to 30 mph with gusts around 50 mph.

* TIMING...Winds will strengthen Wednesday afternoon and
  diminish Wednesday evening.

* IMPACTS...Drivers of vans, campers, trailers, and other high-
  profile vehicles should be alert to the danger of these
  winds, especially when driving along Interstate 80 and U.S.
  95 in Humboldt County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A wind advisory means that sustained winds of 30 mph with gusts
in excess of 45 mph are expected. Winds this strong can make
driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use
extra caution.
